If something breaks — furnace, fridge, water heater, A/C — your first call must be to the home warranty company.
Not a local repair tech. Not a handyman. Not a neighbor who “knows HVAC.”
If another contractor touches the item first, the warranty company can void the claim. We’ve seen it happen.
If you don’t know your warranty company’s number, call us — we keep that info for our clients.
Service Call Fees
Most warranties charge a fee (usually $75–$125) each time you request service. It’s similar to a doctor copay — small compared to the cost of a full repair or replacement.
Coverage Limits
Warranties don’t cover 100% of replacement costs. Each item has a maximum payout. But even partial coverage can save thousands.
